I freelanced with Valued Accounting between October 2020 and May 2022 on various parts of their marketing strategy. This started with a full marketing plan, website rebuild, social media refresh and client re-engagement, as well as starting monthly newsletter campaigns.
I was responsible for the year to year digital marketing plan, content plan creation and ideation, gathering stats and analysing of our KPIs.
Towards the end of this time, I handed over to an in-house marketing assistant, as there was a realisation this should be a full-time job.

Newsletters
Our newsletter database needed re-engaging and nurturing to create leads. It was my responsibility to turn that around. I was able to do this, plus draw in new subscriptions on a regular basis through a monthly topical newsletter.

Social Media
After revamping our social media presence I was responsible for posting, which re-engaged the dead following and attracted new leads. I was able to do this and increase not only engagement but also leads to our newsletter, live events and sales.
One of many implementations I was responsible for was the creation and scripting of our ‘Leadership Thoughts’ live sessions, crucial to thought leadership and brand awareness. Well-loved among our clients.

Website Build
The original WordPress website needed an overhaul. Its corporate feel wasn’t attracting the right customers. I rebuilt this in RocketSpark, creating copy and graphics.
Internal Comms & Systems
Internally staff had little connection with their marketing. I was able to bring team members in to start participating in things like Xero Hour within our private Facebook group, have staff consult on blog posts and keep them updated with our practices.
