3 ways to reduce your bounce rate significantly

In today's video, we are looking at bounce rates for your website and ways in which you can vastly reduce them to increase your trust. Bounce rates are another important ranking factor for Google and how quickly people choose to leave your website is a real indication to Google on either: poor content, possibly low page speed or poor overall UX (or user experience).

There were three ways that you can reduce your bounce rate quickly and with very minimal effort.

This is a video transcribe.

#1 Improve your page content

Number one, you can improve your page content, making sure that you are maximizing the value you're giving to your audience and enticing them to stay longer on your website.

Here are some tips I use to create better blog content, which is one of the leading ways to use your website to market your business using Google.

If you're giving them a clear call to action within your content as well, that indicates further site action they can take, then people are more likely to take that response and to therefore avoid bouncing.

#2 Reduce your page speed

The second thing that you can do is to reduce your page speed.

If you hop onto my YouTube channel, you'll find that I've got a video there on page speed for you. I recommend that you go and watch that, because I've got some simple ideas on how you can reduce speed quickly, giving you more traffic and reducing your bounce rate.

#3 improve your site’s navigation

The third thing that you can do is to improve the navigation on your website. When I come to land on a particular web page, as a user, if I find it's easy to make my own choice in further actions then I'm likely to take those actions rather than bouncing away.

Have a think about that. How easy is it for your users to find what they need quickly?

Final word on reducing your bounce rate

In my own story, over the last year, I've been working on a site revamp, and I've been working particularly on reducing my bounce rates by doing a number of things, and concentrating, particularly on the three simple factors that I've given you today.

I have seen my bounce rates reduced from 70 odd percent to just one or 2% week after week. This has been achieved by employing the simple things that I've given you in today's video.

While I have an understanding of SEO, I do not class myself as an expert in the field, so if I can achieve impressive results like this, so my friend can you.

I hope that's been helpful.
