How the dream of becoming a football coach became a reality during lockdown
I have been working with Phil Novell since early February 2020. In that time I have designed, produced and maintained the Ultimate Footballer website, including a landing page, an email automation funnel and regular weekly emails for Phil’s free workout sessions during the Covid-19 lockdown.

I have also updated social profiles and created organic adverts for his platforms, on Instagram, Facebook, Google My Business and Twitter.
YouTube is another area I have been working on, by creating SEO rich titles, descriptions and tags for his video uploads.
We have seen lots of growth from these efforts and used it to launch a Saturday coaching program, as the first Covid-19 lockdown lifted.
It’s been a difficult time for sports and hospitality businesses, during Covid and I’m thrilled to say that Phill didn’t take long to start consistently booking out his Saturday ‘Soccer in the Park’ sessions. So much was the demand that he has been able to take on another coach in just over a year in business and a further 20 kids each session.
Because Ultimate Footballers is a fairly new business Phil is still full-time, self employed as a well-known sash window installer/restorator in Surrey and London. This means that Phil doesn’t have the time to market his football dream, instead he needs someone else to do that for him. This is where I come in, designing, producing and delivering everything he needs on a weekly basis.

Graphic work on Canva including posters, flyers and adverts

PR and marketing outreach via email
At every stage I update and advise Phil with exactly what he needs from a management position, so he can take his next steps confidently.
